Graey?

So we've all come across the disturbing question in life tomato v. tomatoe, potato v. potatoe, v. v. vs., and numerous more, but today I talk on behalf of the GREY V. GRAY dispute. Now I could give you some crap (pardon my French) about how one's British and one's American English, but I'd rather give you my little speel.

Now this is Grey:

And this is Gray:

As you can tell there is a MAJOR difference and I am emphasizing the word 'major'. Now take some more time if you need to stare at the boxes. There is a difference. The fact of the matter is one has more "a" and one has more "e". This plays a critical difference in the color scheme. Now I preferably like Grey more than Gray, but it's something you're born with it's not a choice. My definite explanation of Graey is today's Just Another Sign I Have WAY Too Much Free Time. (I apologize for the post being bad, but I'm a little stressed lately, so they will get better. For now I must go and utilize my free time.)

Laziness: Part I

The fact that I made this blog in the first place. (aka. I have to spend my time doing boring stuff like "Doing it in Biology" |I'll explain later.|, studying for a major Algebra II test tomorrow, and studying for the National Spanish Exam. Plus I really want to read some Prisoner of Azkaban so yeah. This is today's sucky Just Another Sign I Have WAY Too Much Free Time.)

New City

So anyways if you live in the Americas like I do you know that almost every other place is named New something. Whether it be New York City, New Mexico, New England, Nuevo Leon, New Brunswick. It's impossible to avoid seeing the word "New" on any map you look. So, I thought what if people move to like Uranus (no pun intended, because I prefer to pronounce it your-uh-ness. I'll talk about that on another post, someday). Will the cities on Uranus be named after places in the Americas. Can you imagine a New Chicago? Well anyways I went through and found the top US, Mexican, and Canadian cities that did not have an adjective word (eg. New, North) before it and added New or Nuevo to the front. Not difficult work. Anyways it's kind of fun to go through and read the city names if you're incredibly bored. Well, here's the list:

2. New Toronto
3. Nueva Guadalajara
4. Nuevo Monterrey
5. New Los Angeles
6. Nouvelle Montreal
7. New Chicago
8. New Houston
9. Nueva Puebla

During this I realized that Mexico City is almost twice as big as the population of New York City and Los Angeles combined. Freaky! I hope this shows Just Another Sign I Have WAY Too Much Free Time.

Toilets of Japan

So today I just had another case of Free Timelitis. Today in Biology Class, our teacher was talkign about Potable vs. Grey Water (By the way I need to write a post on Gray vs. Grey). Anyways one thing leads to another and Ms. Hoffman {Note: No real names are used on the blog and are substituted by a name with no association.} starts talking about toilets in Japan. Now I didn't exactly understand how this toilet worked. Supposedly there's a little sink above the toilet and the water goes from the sink to the toilet into the ground. You all know what an avid Biology student I am, so when I get home I research Toilets of Japan. Amazingly someone had written an entire Wikipedia page about this. Check it out here. Now I would also like to point out that this was a very lengthy article. Just another sign someone else has way too much free time. Now the article was interesting and I suggest that when you are bored and have nothing to do, you should read this article. Oh well that's all for today. Well, everyone's been talking about the Rebecca Black viral-video Friday. Now I'm usually very supportive of all types of music. I listen to Rap, Classical, Jazz, Modern, Pop, Oldies, and Foreign. It's not that I don't like music, it's just that some people need more editing (I hope that's the right word) before they go public. That all I can say for this video:

Now here's the sad part and I must admit this is my fault. I've seen this video 7 times already in one day. This is today's Just Another Sign I Have WAY Too Much Free Time.
